INVITATION
1. DATE, VENUE AND ORGANIZING AUTHORITY
The Piada Trophy 2014 will be held at Riccione (RN) from 27th to 29th June 2014.
The Organizing Authority for the regatta is Club Nautico Riccione in association with the Italian Snipe Class Association and the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV).
The Race Office, boat park and all the sailing facilities will be in Marina di Porto Verde
2. SCHEDULE
27th June 2014 Race(s);
28th June 2014 Race(s);
29th June 2014 Race(s);
29th June 2014 Prize Giving as soon as possible after the end of the last race.
Seven (7) races are scheduled, but not more than three races per day will be sailed.
The Social Event Program will be available at registration.
3. RULES AND REGULATIONS
The regatta will be governed by the Rules as defined in RRS; the ISAF Prescriptions 2013-2016 and the S.C.I.R.A Rules of Conduct for Conducting National and International Championship Regattas will apply. In case of conflict between N.o.R. and the Sailing Instructions, S.I. shall prevail.
4. ENTRY AND ELIGIBILITY
The ISAF Eligibility Code will apply.
A competitor entered in the regatta must meet the Class Rules for membership of the Class Association and be its fully paid-up member.
The regatta is open to S.C.I.R.A. registered boats and S.C.I.R.A. members. All competitors must have a valid license and health visa according to their M.N.A. requirements.

5. FACILITIES:
All the Club Facilities will be at disposal for the competitors during all the period of the regatta.
6. PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded to the best five (5) placed boats in the final results and to the first scored Junior Team.
7. INSURANCE
The sailors and/or boats shall carry a current and valid third Party insurance certificate, to cover damage to objects and persons for an amount of not less than € 1.000.000,00 as fixed by the MNA (FIV) regulations. That document is to be shown at the regatta Office.
8. SOCIAL EVENTS
The Social Event Program will be available at registration.
9. SPECIAL CONDITIONS
No entry fee for all non-European participants.
10. CHARTER
There are a limited number of Snipe boats to charter available for foreign teams. The order of preference will be for the teams coming from other continents.
